Ancient Greek on Perseverance

Posted on Saturday, 25th July, 2009 by Kyle

There are countless quotes from ancient Greeks that still resonate through our lives today, including this one:

“Water continually dropping will wear hard rocks hollow.” – Plutarch

The key here, with regards to building a business online, is that trying to accomplish a task or reach a goal that by it’s very nature takes a long time, in a short time, is a bad idea. Some things just take time and perseverance, and maybe a little bit of luck along the way.

In the end, starting your own business is a massive undertaking, even if you’re a veteran entrepreneur, so take your time and slowly wear away the barriers between you and what you want.
